Billed as the best pick up artist in the world, I found his materials interesting and very similar to Mystery's materials. (He was a pupil of Mystery) However, Neil Strauss falls short of a fuller awareness of girls that both Mr. L. Rx and David Deangelo have.
However, I feel his techniques are very good for a certain type of lady which you primarily find in bars and night clubs. Both Neil and Mystery are more for guys who are interested in being Pick Up Artists (PUAs).
I think that Neil's works in conjunction with "Dating To Relating" and "Double Your Dating" could have decent value, and from that point of view it should be explored.
Taken on their own, I will not recommend them for the average guy. The techniques that are provided here, definitely work, however they only work on a narrow band of what I would label shallow ladies.

And he is trying to update his works as he admits "the game is dead" but his new techniques are just as gamy like the old ones and certainly provide no deep level of understanding as does Mr. L. Rx or the great information that David Deangelo offers with his Dating Guru Series.
