Feature 4 - Light Distribution
How intense the light distributed by those bulbs is will depend on the housing used and what sort of carrier or reflector has been used to place the semiconductor on. Certainly the better quality these elements then the more intense the light distributed will be. On average the amount of light emitted can vary dramatically and the angle at which it is emitted varies also. In most bulbs the angle is only 15 degrees whilst in others it may be as much as 160 degrees.
Feature 5 - Energy Efficiency
These are considered to be among the most efficient form of lighting you can get nowadays. At present most of these bulbs are able to emit around 30 lm/w of white light. However there're several now that have the capability of emitting 50 lm/w and perhaps at some point in the future some will be able to emit 100 lm/w.
